Attention Starved Pseudo-Artist slinging Casey Anthony Sculpture on EbayPosted by: YourTurnToHelp on Aug 17, 2009 |
"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."-Albert Einstein
With all the twists and turns in the Casey Anthony over the last year we've seen a lot of attention starved morons with too much time on their hands. Seems like every few months someone is making vodoo dolls, or Caylee Anthony dolls, or whatever.
The latest "creation" to make the "i'm a total frigging idiot, look at me, look at me" file is the Original Casey Anthony Chloroform Sculpture brought to us by aisthetes on Ebay. Of course "Aisthetes" is a
new user with no former sales. Ironically, "Aisthetes" is greek for "one who perceives". Frankly, anyone that creates this crap, then tries to sling it on Ebay for 700 buckers has a total lack of perception. Blind to art, blind to couth, and void of any social grace. But you be the judge.
Here's the description from Aisthetes:
This sculpture depicts a calotte model of the molecule Trichloromethane, (Chloroform by common name) hand carved out of white alabaster and hand-sanded to a smooth finish. The stone "compound” is perched upon a soapstone base engraved with the molecule's structural diagram and aesthetic duct-tape band preaching love and compassion and honoring the experimentation, liberation and creativity of Casey Anthony. White Alabaster on Soapstone base. Dimensions: Weight: 5.5" x 6.5" x 10.25" 10lbs
Apparently, the one who perceives has yet to get any takers on this table turd:

Who'd of thunk it with free shipping, and Christmas just around the corner?
The listing comes complete with video:
The morons username on youtube is CaelumsWork. Caelum is of course a constellation meaning "the chisel", formerly known as Cæla Sculptoris, or "the sculptor's chisel" . Oh how deep....
Youtube User Caelumswork has actually been around a while. I found some old deleted comments from the user and the "sculpture" originally made it's debut on Youtube 5 months ago on Casey Anthony's birthday. Here's that video. (different view, same piece of crap)
Of course the date went unnoticed so the user was quick to comment:
Note the Date added...Happy Birthday Casey! We Miss You!

I'd like to bid 25 cents just to get this off EBay!
Surely this has to be a joke? But then again, some the "art" in my hometown leaves so much to be desired.
Thanks for the laughs YTTH - whether you meant it or not!

when I first looked at that photo, before I read this, I thought it was, well, er, a tribute to Casey's "balls" for all the times she has lied through her teeth and not batted an eye!!!

As Artgal pointed out in one her comments, "it's the hype".
Sadly, I laughed all thru YT's commentary but in the back of my mind, I was thinking.."anything to make a buck,
OMG, he'll sell it"

Boy, ain't that the truth!
Bomb & BJ,
Since Judge S. ordered her to appear at all future hearings, I was surprised when I read that she didn't have to be at this one, and that's why it sticks in my mind. I just can't remember where I read it.

That will be her defense, she will say she didn't know cause she wasn't at the hearing, and that no one told her she should be there.
I don't know, I was at work.
The dog ate my homework.
Whatever.

Many of you, who still post and lurk here, knew Zenga. (Her avatar was a plane soaring through the sky). She fought tirelessly for justice for Caylee.
In the beginning she flew from her home out west and she searched for Caylee through the heat and muck in Fla. …soon afterward she found out she had breast cancer.
Throughout the months that followed, as our passion for justice for Caylee consumed all of us, the disease was consuming Zenga’s body. However, you never knew she was suffering on a daily basis with chemo, radiation and numerous hospitalizations, for she was steadfast in her fight against child abuse. The MOMENT she felt good enough to post, she resumed her comments and her desire for justice. She never failed to make me smile with her humor and honesty. Even when her opinion differed from others, she ALWAYS had a kind thing to say and tirelessly thanked all of us for our thoughts, opinions and information.
She would not discuss her health much and was determined to beat it, no matter what it took. She wanted nothing more than for Caylee and all the other missing and murdered children to have the justice they deserve.
I am sad to report to you that Zenga lost her battle with cancer yesterday. I hope that, however you commemorate death, that you will think a kind thought for her today and/or say a prayer for her and “the Hubbs”, who is genuinely, devastated.
She loved the people she met through this site and I know she would so appreciate and be totally overwhelmed, by a brief moment of your time.
I also KNOW she has found Caylee by now (and many other murdered children) and she is giving them all love, hugs and kisses, from all of us.

Thank you Sway for your wonderful words about Zenga. You said it all.
Those of us that knew and loved her will forever miss her passion and humor and honesty. She was a special person and my heart is heavy today.
Rest in Peace, Zenga.

I hope her new adventure will be as exciting as her past adventures, and will be all she had hoped it would be.

I never had the pleasure of meeting her but I felt like I knew her. I considered her a very good friend, and our friend is gone but never forgotten.
Let us all band together in Zenga's name and continue our quest for the missing and murdered. And let's all make sure we get our annual mammogram in Zenga's name.
I will miss her more than I can say in words!!

"We here at home" feel that the world has lost an angel, the best kind: one with an attitude.
The world is a better place for having had her in it. I will miss EVERYTHING about Zenga.
God bless and comfort you, Mr. Zenga.

You could count on Zenga to tell it like it is. She was a fighter, and a very special lady.
Whoever said to get your mammogram in Zenga's name, what a grand idea!
Cancer is an awful disease, it takes a life of its own, then it takes yours. My 2 yr old granddaughter had her quarterly cancer scans today, so far she is 1 year cancer free. Pray for a cure!!

Go with God our friend Zenga, you will be missed. Please everyone get your mammograms, catch this early and fight, fight, fight...like a girl.
Breast cancer doesn't only happen to women. John Waynes' son Patrick had breast cancer. Male or female, we ALL have breasts. It can happen to anyone.
